Throughout your life, you may have experienced a burst of joy; however, it is temporal and doesn't last long. The greatest joy that you will ever experience is the joy that you have in Jesus Christ. This joy is eternal and so much better than the joy that this world can offer. This joy that we can have through Jesus is the most significant experience you can have because it doesn't hinge on our feelings or circumstances. It's a joy that is based on who Jesus Christ is - your Savior. This joy is hard to explain because it's a joy that has to be experienced. When you go through a hard time, a trail in your life, or a burden that's hard to bear, Christ gives you a joy that allows you to keep going. This joy cannot be taken from you, and cannot be given except by Jesus. Jesus is joy and offers eternal joy to you if you accept Him as your personal Savior.
