True Love
We all have experienced the love of God, especially if we have trusted Christ as our Savior. His ultimate love for us was when He paid our sin price by dying on the cross and shedding His blood. Throughout our lives, God shows us His love towards us, even though at times we may not see it. Just as we have experienced His love, God wants us to share His love with others. Somebody put it best this way, "You can give without loving, but you can't love without giving." One of the best ways to show the love of God is by serving others. Throughout Jesus' ministry, he demonstrated serving others. Therefore, we should do the same as He did and put others before us. It doesn't take much to let someone go ahead of you in the check out line or to pay for someone else's Starbucks drink. Look for ways today to share God's love with other around you, and be that shining light.
