God is Your Strength

When David writes this psalm, he knows that God is his strength. Even while he was being chased by King Saul, he finds comfort in knowing that God will be his strength. Not only will God be his strength, but also his shield. We too can find comfort in this verse knowing that God is our shield and our strength throughout our day. What a wonderful promise that God gives us. Our hearts should greatly rejoice in our Lord who gives us strength, is our shield, and guides us through this world.
